Tips are how this tracker stays current. Every entry we publish cites a source, so a link to coverage or a permit record is worth more than anything else you can send us.

What makes a tip usable
- A source. A news link, a permit or license record, a social post from the business, or a photo of the sign on the door.
- A date, as precise as you actually know it. "Sometime in June" is genuinely useful — we label date precision rather than inventing a day.
- The location. City and neighborhood at minimum.
How we handle closures
Carefully. Reporting a business closed when it is still open and still fighting for customers does real damage. We hold entries we cannot source, we label single-source reports as "reported" rather than confirmed, and we correct fast when we get one wrong.
If you own a business and we have your status wrong, tell us — owners get priority and we will look the same day where we can.
