Pest control

Commercial pest management on a service schedule, with the logs your inspector will ask to see.

Evidence of pests is among the fastest routes to a critical violation, and inspectors routinely ask for your service records. This is not a call-when-you-see-something service — it is a documented, scheduled program, and the documentation is half of what you are buying.

What to ask before you hire

Take this into the call. No vendor gets to edit this list.

  1. Will you leave a service report at every visit and maintain a log I can hand an inspector? The paperwork matters as much as the treatment.
  2. Do you do commercial kitchens specifically, and are you familiar with what health inspectors look for?
  3. What is the service frequency, and does the price change if I need an extra visit between scheduled ones?
  4. What products do you use in a food handling area, and what are the re-entry and food-covering requirements?
  5. Will you inspect and advise on exclusion — door sweeps, gaps, drains — rather than only treating? Exclusion is what actually solves it.
  6. How fast can you respond if I have an active problem, and is that included or extra?
  7. What is the contract term and cancellation notice?

  • General Pest Control

Middleburg Heights pest control company with a dedicated foodservice practice — initial risk inspection, treatment combining physical barriers with chemical control and cleaning recommendations, customized fly management, and routine preventive scheduling. In business 87 years.

Services: Restaurant pest management · Fly control programs · Exclusion and physical barriers · Comprehensive reporting · After-hours service

Serves: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Summit, Medina counties

The only one of our pest listings that explicitly names comprehensive reporting of findings and corrective actions — which is the half of this service you are actually buying, because the inspector asks for the log. They also work discreetly and will schedule after hours. Fly management is called out as its own program, which matters more in a kitchen than most operators expect. M-F 8-5.
